Community Connections aims to be an accessible point of contact for those in the Knox community, offering support and resources to help individuals and families thrive. Inspired by unconditional love and compassion, this initiative facilitates access to various services, including job search help, assistance with form-filling, budgeting mentoring, subsidised PBS prescriptions, counselling referrals, and vital amenities like showers and laundry facilities.

We aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all, in a safe environment.

CAP
Money

CAP Mentoring exists to provide immediate and ongoing support to those in or at risk of financial distress, both in the community of Scoresby, and wider Victoria as referred by CAP Australia.

This support is delivered through personalised one-on-one or small group mentoring sessions, where trained mentors guide participants in utilising CAP's budgeting and values-based tools. The goal is to empower them to manage their finances more effectively. Additionally, we hope to foster a sense of community and connection among participants.

Mainly Music

Mainly Music takes place every Friday morning during school terms at Community@Cavell, located at 15 Cavell St, Scoresby. This music-based playgroup offers a delightful gathering for parents and toddlers, featuring a variety of engaging action songs, morning tea, and ample playtime for both children and parents to interact throughout the session. The program aims to create a supportive and enriching environment where parents can bond with their children while fostering connections with other families in the local community. As children enjoy themselves and gain confidence, parents also have the opportunity to form lasting friendships.
