Life GroupsWe believe that meeting together regularly in necessary in the life of all Christians. Therefore, Life Groups are central to our church ministry and mission. Life Groups provide opportunity and accountability to deepen your growth as a disciple of Christ, study and apply the Bible and build authentic relationships of care and love within our church family.
We have Life Groups for all ages that meet fortnightly on various days of the week, in various locations around Knox. If you are interested in joining a Life Group, let us know! |
KidsWe have some great children's programs each Sunday morning, while also working with parents to equip and support them.
Creche (0-3 years old) - a space for parents to care for young children, while connecting with other parents, leaders and still being connected to the service. TurboKidz (4-11 years old) - we teach them the story of Christ in the Bible, while helping children discover their gifts and get involved in the life of the church. |
YouthEmerge Youth exists for high school students to grow in their relationship with Jesus, their understanding of themselves and the world around them.
We meet weekly on Friday nights during the school term from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at 15 Cavell Street, Scoresby. We also have an annual camp during the Term 3 holidays and combine with our denominational youth network for State Youth Games in June. |
Young AdultsThis ministry exists for those over 18 or have finished high school. We meet for Life Groups, which run 3 weeks per month on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. These groups involve teaching and discussion, caring for one another and enjoying life together!
We have an annual retreat to start the year, and there are also various social and outreach events that take place. For more information, just contact us! |
GenerateGenerate is a night gathering, run by our youth and young adults, but open to all! We meet once a month on a Sunday evening, starting at 5pm at Scoresby Secondary College.
We creatively explore what it looks like for us to follow Jesus. We usually have a time of praise and worship, a speaker and time to respond and reflect. As young adults, we head out to dinner afterwards and would love for you to join us! |
Music MinistryThe Music Ministry Team seeks to passionately worship God and to lead and encourage One Hope Community Church to do the same. We have a contemporary style of music, with theologically sound lyrics.
Along with our regular team of musicians and singers, we also have dedicated volunteers who serve by setting up and running the audio and visual equipment. We are involved in running our annual outdoor Carols By Candlelight event and have a monthly Team Night for rehearsal, learning and community. |
MentoringWe love seeing mentoring relationships formed that are intentional and intergenerational. Not only does this connect our church more, but it creates space for learning from each other and deeper discipleship to take place.
